That said, we do not travel as often as we did pre-kid. We used to do 2-3 big trips a year and now it's 1. It takes a lot more mental energy to plan and prepare and I need some downtime between trips to get psyched for the next one. PLUS we use the rest of that vacation time to visit family now. [/quote]
