I don't care what you "put me down" as, but your meme remains idiotic.   We have a had a policy of accepting refugees since the late 1940s (in response to our failure to take in enough refugees during WW2).   That policy never offered free housing.    It allowed people to enter the country, To get housing, people worked and paid rent, or moved in with relatives, or were helped by non profit orgs.   [/quote]
