When my DH and I had kids our HHI was close to $400K, and we still argued about childcare, housechore type stuff because we were both working. Sure, we outsourced as much as we could but you can only outsource so much. Someone still has to be the parent and take care of house/child stuff. Too stressful. I pushed DH to have one of us cut back. I gave him the option. He said no, so I cut way back, at one point became a sahm, and life was so much less stressful. My libido also went up. Bonus for him. We had to move to a lower col area to achieve this. Everyone is much happier.[/quote]
