No big deal?  I guess if your standards are extremely low. What is the point if your child is absurdly behind everyone else?  You're really considering a DPR "Spanish" camp to be some sort of way you can judge your children's aptitude?  How does that help them in French? Or mandarin?  SMH. [/quote]

Yes, it is not a big deal.  Please calm down.  Mundo Verde adds a lot of students in K, which they would not do if this was so impossible.  In Montgomery County, they have immersion elementary schools that have no preschool at all.  DC will be behind at the beginning, but with support at home, will soon catch up.  DC is well ahead in reading English and in math, so if those subjects plateau for a little while, that's fine.
