Other schools have different problems and admin may also be tone deaf to issues of UMC kids as well.[/quote] Overall, I didn’t find the administrators at Longfellow and McLean “complacent.” The administration at Longfellow veered a bit towards the self-congratulatory, and the McLean administration put up with a few bad teachers who didn’t belong in classrooms, but overall they work hard to address the needs of kids.
