Hubby retired 5 years ago...his drinking has increased to the point he becomes drunk. This happens sbout 3 times a week and always when we go out with friends. He has a problem which is ruining our marriage..of course he denies it. My drinking habits are one drink on occasion now. I am late 50’s. It makes me feel ill
I get it...same thing is happening to me. I still work. I am 57. Hubby retired at 60. He is 10 years older than me. I have cut out drinking because it makes me feel sick. I have sbout 2 Cosmo martinis a year. Hubby drinks alot and becomes drunk often during the week. He has ruined vacations, weddings, and other social occasions for me with his habit. Alcoholism runs in his family. He denies there is a problem. I am really turned off by this and just tolerate sex with him. I guess i need al anon as our marriage is going down the tubes. (Married 31 years)
