I'm not sure what about this you don't understand.  They are here illegally.  Yes, I'm sure some illegal immigrants have done good deeds.  So that's a reason to allow them to stay??  You are defending illegal immigration.  That's what it comes down to.[/quote]

I would certainly advocate for a legal path to citizenship for that person.   It may entail leaving the country and applying for legal status, but I would certainly speak very highly as a character reference on their behalf.   All the others who have not saved Americans lives would need to go, though.[/quote]
