Fraternity culture is probably stronger at Northwestern but you will find it at Cornell too.  Evanston kind of feels a lot like Bethesda, and you can take that in the for better or worse category, but only 20-30 minutes from Chicago.  The campus is right on the lake which is beautiful in good weather and, well, not so much in bad.  But both are terrific schools that anyone should be excited to attend.   [/quote]
