OP says that this woman is attractive, funny, etc- where do you get your second statement in your list?  I’m in my 30’s but I’ve seen some women in their late 40’s early 50’s who look amazing (and a lot of thirty somethings- men and women- who are out of shape, dress poorly, need to up personal grooming, etc).  Maybe the OP is beautiful and fit with an equally good looking spouse- or maybe not.  Same with the coworker, but it’s simplistic to think age is the only deciding factor in attraction.

Agree though it was dumb to tell the wife.  He should have learned a lesson, kept his mouth shut, and decide it was a one time mistake.  No need to create drama at home (if all they did was kiss... big if) [/quote]
