My daughter turned six on sept 27 this year. We’re in MD, so she started K this year at nearly six.  I grew up on VA and knew if we lived there she would go a year earlier. 
Is that cheating and “morally wrong “ also?  
Given that so many states have differing cut offs I don’t think this is a question of morals. I do think the extra year turned out to be a good thing for my kid. If I lived in VA maybe she would have gone a year earlier and been fine, no way to know. From what I can see now, halfway through K, she’s in just the right place now. [/quote]
