Women could receive 100 percent of the STEM diplomas and there’d still be a wage gap as long as women are responsible for bearing children and there isn’t paid maternity leave and equality at home to keep them in the workforce or on the same trajectory as men. This is why you have countries like Japan with low birth rates and the US where most babies are born to uneducated single women. [/quote]
