Oh, grow up you two. There are actually those of us out here who are genuinely interested in learning more about UMBC vs. UMCP. Yes, we all know that UMCP is in the big 10 now and has tons more research money than UMBC. Please no need to turn this into a competition over which one is better ranked or more "elite". Whatever. I went to UMCP and think it is a great school. However, it is huge and I'm not sure my DD would be happy there and we are starting to research if UMBC would be better for her. I know several families who currently have students at UMBC and are very happy there. Please tell me more! Good things about each, bad things about each, but don't say that one is "better" than the other. They're very different schools in size and focus. [/quote]
