There are plenty of guys who look like him, with sketchy pasts, criminal histories and lack of education, doing things like roadwork or community service or other menial jobs. You just don't notice because you are so used to filtering them out based on socioeconomic status.

I know it rankles that women go nuts over men like Hot Felon who are coasting on good fortune while you bust your ass for the money that is the only reason you are able to attract anyone at all.
