I thought there were 6 or 7 but a couple weren't disclosed? I might be wrong....
The families that benefited included those of Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity Courtney Snowden, a D.C. Public Schools principal, a former D.C. elected official, the head of a nonprofit that works with DCPS, an Obama White House staffer and one of Henderson’s former classmates.
Who was the principal?
Kim Martin
Proof???
You can see here for yourself: https://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/documents/local/inspector-general-report-on-dc-school-lottery/2436/ Page 10-12 of the OIG report describes the school principal who asked for a placement. On page 11, it describes this exchange: "On August 3, 2015, at 1:15PM, a DCPS official responded to Chancellor Henderson and Dr. Beers, stating: This came to my attention Saturday and I completely agree - he should be able to go to Wilson. The only downside is that we have been strict about who goes to Wilson due to them being over their enrollment. One student, the principal's son, shouldn't make this an issue." Who was principal of Wilson in August 2015??
Dr. Martin is a highly successful professional and educator. She has a very high powered job. People act like like back-scratching is some DC thing. The WASP power structure has been doing it forever. Are you saying that a top educator of color has no right to a little special consideration?
