You are hanging out with the wrong women.  I am 50 and never cheated on my husband, even when he cheated on me and I totally could have cheated on him.  I'd never do such a thing because it doesn't fit my values, and I have self-respect and self-control.  None of my close friends would or have ever done this either.

Here is the problem: you're still married.  I am dating divorced or (occasionally) never-married women.  Their experiences are different from women who got married young and stayed married.

Hahaha.  You obvs know nothing about women. My husband at the time cheated on me, but he is, of course, now my ex.  Please.  I have more self-respect and respect for my kids than to keep ourselves tied to an inveterate liar and cheat.

And, BTW, among women who are close, lifelong friends with each other - well we definitely tell these things.
