I'm not arguing against your preference either.  I get it.  I would choose the same thing.  I'm arguing against the one of you that said fat men have never been idealized throughout human history.  She was incredibly wrong.  It's still the same reason you see fat guys with hot young wives.  Because they're powerful, rich etc (generally, some have great personalities/humor).  [/quote]

That is true.  For modern history.  But that is not true when scarcity was the real issue which it has been for most of human history.  Back then/ fat was good.  It was also much more common to see in medieval royalty among women too.

Fat was not and has never been good for men.  For women- yes.
