I'm on board too. My DH and I have spoken to police that patrol the area where this young woman was killed. Can't say much here but there's a real problem with people being arrested and then being released within a few days to a month. So much so that the officer said he's been laughed at numerous time's by people he's arrested. They know they will face nothing more than a slap on the wrist. The joke is on us.[/quote]

The Post ran a series of  this that was  sickening and heartbreaking  And I've heard all about this McDuffie. How do we bring pressure to bear so it's not just business as usual? MARY Cheh would be one as Wilson is in her ward. Whose Ward did Jamahri live in or was walking in at the time? No one in our city should be laughing as they get arrested. [/quote]

Not sure exactly which article(s) you meant, PP.  So, I'm posting a few in the interest of furthering awareness.  DCUMers can read up on some local research, and if it gets the phone lines burning in the Wilson building, then so much the better.  Let this girl's death not be in vain.

Yes this is part of the expose PP. Thank you  There is one about prosecutors in DC literally dropping gun charges (the Hypocrisy in our city with its attitudes to guns) for youth to avoid mandatory consequences that was particularly shocking. [/quote]
