The joke is on us.[/quote] Don't hold your breath on council candidates. If anything, a number of council members think that the police are too tough on our local criminals. Some, like Kenyon McDuffie, actively court the "cell block" vote the way Marion Barry used to. Others like Ms. Nadeau confuse mistake "progressivism" for naivety.[/quote]
