I thank all the staff at work for routine stuff. If I'm sending a package and the mailroom helps me I say thanks for your help etc etc. do you people also not thank at restaurants and places like Starbucks because it's "their job???". I also agree with the poster who said that if your spouse does something so you don't have to do it, I.e if you usually do laundry and he ends up doing it, a thank you is totally ok. We also thank our kids of hey help us around the house although they have designated chores they do everyday. Appreciation goes a longggg way. [/quote]
