Even if they came prepared with their own letters, I'm still pretty sure it was high school kids pranking. The Bethesda B "home of arts" sign outside the Bethesda library was rather professionally painted to read "home of farts" a year ago. Motivated kids with an idea, money and access to a hardware store are more than capable of pulling this off. Plus, I can't think why an adult would be motivated to do this when they would be more likely to just rant about Trump on Facebook (or DCUM). .
BAHAHAHAHA! Now THAT is funny... please tell me someone got a photo of it?? I happen to agree with everything you said, but LE is going to take it seriously because its a threat against our President. So even if it was teens, I'm afraid the going to come under the same wrath as an adult would. Had it been about farts, not so much... killing our President is another story.
Agree completely!
+2 Also in total agreement. Thanks for the update to the wife of the LE officer (and for the record, I find home of farts to be a riot as well!).
As strange it is may seem the Davis Library has always been known as the home of Farts. Whether its the furniture or ventilation system there has always been a distinct odor of farts in that building. Maybe its the people who patronize the library? I don't know for sure.
Omg, that is so funny! I just moved right down the street from Davis & I'm in there at least 3-4 times a month & I've never noticed a smell before. Now, that may be because I have a deviated septum & can't breathe through my nose, so I'd be the last person to notice & odor. Or it could be that I moved here right after the huge renovation they just did that closed the library for 6+ months & due to the renovation, there is no more odor? Or maybe the renovation was just a front for trying to eradicate the odor you speak of & they found the dead animal that was stinking up the vents for 20+ years? Have you been there since the renovations were complete? If yes, is there still an odor?
