I'm not the Beyonce generation (she means much more to the 20 somethings in my office, I'm 40)  but what on earth with the stupid or trashy remarks? She's clearly not stupid--- she is a masterful songwriter and I consider people like her a poet of modern times.  And trashy? I don't know about her intelligence (at minimum she is smart enough to have smart people around her) but I don't get the trashy comment either.  She's been with the same guy for years, no sex tapes or vagina shots when that was a thing, no rumors of drug habits or neglecting her child.  To my knowledge  doesn't start twitter beefs or engage in outlandish behavior.  You don't hear of her being nasty to fans.  She seems to dress pretty conservatively when not performing.
