I suggest that going through life trying to be helpful and less bitchy may help some of your attitudes.

You have no reason to know why OP asked her neighbor to help out.  And you don't need to know.  That's between them.  
However, when you ask someone to help out you risk the chance that they may not do it as you would want it to.  Sure, it's ok to be annoyed. However, OP, the correct response is not to say anything.  Blame the delivery company if you must.  But zip it with your neighbor, who was doing a favor.[/quote]
