FWIW my daily carry is:
Work laptop
Work notebook
Personal planner
Wallet
Small makeup bag - around 5x3" (nail clippers, chapstick, hand lotion, floss, 1-2 tampons, Evian spray, hair ties, mints)
Pill box
Sunglasses + case
Phone
Water bottle
Coffee mug
Book or iPad
Small items - pen, cigarettes/lighter (sue me), work ID badge, headphones
Lunch/breakfast (in one large lunchbag)
Keys

Fits in one tote bag. Bring a resusable bag in case I need to transport stuff - so tomorrow I will be carrying 2 bags, 1 of normal stuff and one of dry cleaning/UPS dropoff boxes, I will fold up the bag when I am done dropping things off on the way to work.

If I needed to carry a change of clothes for the gym, including yoga mat or shoes, I would just use a bag that could accommodate that.. I really do NOT get the carrying multiple bags. I don't know what else I would need or what other women carry with them - I keep toothbrush, extra personal supplies etc. at my desk. If it is raining I carry an umbrella, I have umbrellas at my car and at work.[/quote]
