What rules?  What misbehavior? The article said nothing of the kind. And to say you know it is the parents' fault because it never happened before is dumb. Maybe it never happened before because there is a faulty safety mechanism. Maybe it never happened before because the floor is in need of repair.

Parents should have been next to the child.  It was faulty equipment as there should have been a shut off sensor for emergencies BUT, kid went or fell where they should not have been.  Kids should not be walking even to look alone.  Agree with PP.  Parents need to supervise and if your child cannot sit, they don't go.[/quote]
