I was required to go to a one day defensive driving class to avoid points on my license. That was stuff I did not learn in driver's ed, and use it to this day. [/quote] I would insist on a defensive driving class, and she would be paying the ticket *and* for her own car insurance. She would also not be allowed to drive the car for non-essential reasons; i.e., no using it to drive to a friend's house or to the movies. I would also give her the information about pedestrian fatalities. Speeding in a residential neighborhood is so, so dangerous. [/quote]
