Hmmm I disagree. I read the blog of someone who just delivered at 23 w 2 days and the baby didn't survive. Every single day mattered to her because it would have been a day closer to viability had he stayed a bit longer. I highly doubt she would fudge up or down. The info is on her blog Pinch of Yum. So no this baby was not 5 months early and the parents know that. [/quote]

You know what, I'm so tired of this idea that casting ANY sort of a critical eye on a story is now considered to be mean and vulgar or something. Their baby is 1 pound and delivered early. Of course I wish the baby well. Why would they need to make an announcement saying the baby is 5 months early when that is not medically possible? That's all people are saying. It doesn't mean I wish the baby harm or hate these people. Is this what happens when we live in a post-factual world and nothing actually has to be based in reality anymore and we all just have to nod our heads and go along?
