Even those who don't necessarily agree with his personal beliefs respect his education and research, especially as related to the authorship of sacred scripture. To dismiss him as a "Christian heretic" removes any credibility you might have had. You may disagree with some of his personal beliefs (although you don't sound like someone particularly well-educated on Biblical history), but his research is well-respected.[/quote]
