Like your DH, I am reasonable, educated, with a stable career, family life, and insurance plan, and depending on the additional facts of the case, I could see myself rooting for “not guilty.” Just because my life is good, it doesn’t mean that I’m not aware how terrible things are for other people in this country, in particular as it relates to healthcare & medical costs bankrupting the most vulnerable.
