A kid can be on a 3rd team and below year after year and still be improving. Might just mean that they didn't improve at faster rate than others. All kids from same team receive the same training. Call it favorable growth spurts, luck, favoritism, level of focus or effort, but there is probably a reason why some kids move up while many don't.[/quote]

If you have a kid at Valor that isn’t being moved up this year, it might be time to rethink. With the number of kids leaving it’s opening up spots for kids to move up even if they haven’t really improved. If your kid isn’t moving up then it probably means they *really* are not meaningfully improving.[/quote]

As much as a kid can be improving, the kids on higher teams improve at faster rate, so no, there are no openings on top teams unless someone leaves. Even then, most of the times they just replace the kids with an outsider[/quote]

That's assuming there are a bunch of decent outsiders who tried out... would not assume that for some age groups. They're having to pull up from lower teams to fill rosters. [/quote]
