VDA played Brave, BSC, and Ukrainian Nationals in WAGs. Given 2 of the 3 are being discussed here, it seems like a fair comparison. You can say it was a long time ago, but it’s a head to head result from this season.  You have to draw the line somewhere, and ECNL keeps season standings for a reason.

Other head to head results from this season

- Losses to CSA by a combined 5 goals across 2 games. 
- 4-0 loss to Brave in the first game. Tie in the second. 
- A tie against Arlington and a 1 goal win over Union.

Didn’t VDA also lose badly to FCV in the fall?  I have nothing against them, but this feels like recency bias based on a single 1 goal victory, and ignoring September through March. [/quote]

Who cares?!?!?  last year's results won't matter next season.  Union is done, they're FVU next year - anytime two teams combine the sum should be better than the parts, so FVU should be better next season. VDA will also be better next season after adding the FCV players that are coming over.  Newsflash, both can be true.  I imagine if they both played each other 10 times next year it will be split results.[/quote]
