Not sure about "players will search out ECNL" comment. My kid plays at a top GA club. To get ready for playoffs and ideally finals they've been playing (and beating) ECNL clubs. Every time this happens more ECNL players jump in on sessions during the week. Ive also noticed several ECNL parents that I haven't spoken with since our kids were young suddenly reaching out. From what I can see theres a group of parents that just chase whichever team is winning. I dont think GA or ECNL really matters if the team and club overall are known for winning.[/quote]

So pathetic. Unfortunately for you the tide is turning. People are tired of all the ECNL nonsense and are glad to have an alternative.

ill start
- stickers, magnets, socks and HATS at showcases to buy
- stop taking so many teams watering down the league
- more showcases 
- more showcases not coupled with champions cup or playoffs
- work to get more college coaches to showcases to catch up with ECNL[/quote]
I think ECNL has the hat market cornered no need to compete on that one.

I dont understand how more showcases translates into anything other than more costs for parents. Most colleges dont have a recruitment team that attends more than two or three events. Wouldn't it be better for recruiters to have a single event with all the top teams / players? If I was a recruiter this is what id want.[/quote]
