[/quote] I don't know the specific reasons, but some theories: - They know it's coming out anyway, so it's better to get it out now during a time when many other things are in the news. That way, when it shows up in an indictment they can claim it is old news. - They can blame the FBI and DOJ for leaking. - They are signaling to potential witnesses about what is in the documents so they can get stories straight.[/quote]
