My big takeaway from all this is that Union 10’s and Arlington 11’s are best two teams in the area. Otherwise then would not have a bunch of middle aged parents tearing them apart on a damn soccer forum. So both are doing something right. The haters all have kids who either came from those teams or don’t have a sliver of a chance making those teams. Keep it up Union 10 and Arlington 11. The haters are jealous and it shows
I think the major point is that Union 2010 were dominant when younger and have slowly gotten worse. Same is happening with Arlington and will continue to.
Not true. 2010 Union won top flight of Jeff Cup in March, including a strong win (3-1?) over CSA (top team in mid-Atlantic). Union has had a great U14 season, but the wheels seem to have fallen off in the past two months. Maybe its fall-out from the merger, maybe its missing players, maybe something else.
ML can’t handle the parents. When things get to the point that parents can just dial a coach’s number and the coach picks up the call, it’s over.
This has been referenced a few times in recent posts related to Union. What does this mean? How is it allowed?
