Not that poster, but[b] evidently the Wash Post Magazine had a religious demographics breakdown recently for each county[/b]. My husband said that the Jewish population in MoCo was around 11%. Muslim was 1%. The 11% seemed really low to me, but after we considered how much MoCo has changed since the 1970s with an explosion of population from other cultures, we decided it was reasonable.

I wish I could provide a link. I searched the Post website and can't find it. My DH told me he read it a few weeks ago, but doesn't remember exactly which issue.

No way is MC 17% Jewish.  Maybe in certain parts in Rockville/Bethesda/Potomac but there is maybe a few % at most in up-country and more northern sections of Silver Spring, Derwood, Damascas.  [/quote]
