Correct GA doesn’t decide; however in Dec they did give all the clubs the opportunity to vote on delaying tryouts for the spring of “all” clubs in the division agreed. The only club that voted against delaying tryouts was SYC. That forced STJ to move forward while waiting for GA to determine the club’s future status as a member and while waiting on a determination of their Aspire application. Lot of moving parts for a bad situation all around but in the end, the club put themselves in that spot, not GA. How the club decided to move forward and communicate this to families is where they truly failed. But then why would it be successful when the same people responsible for the decisions that got them there are the same people determining how to move forward while trying to save their jobs. It’s never one decision, it’s the series of decisions over time that have proven to bring the club to where it is now.

IMO, Aspire has always been a part of the plan to ‘expand’ but GA made it their solution to allow STJ to maintain their membership with GA as a whole. In short, show us you can be successful in Aspire over the next 2-3 years and we will bring you back. [/quote]

Don’t blame SYC for anything related to STJ.
SYC has been running ID sessions at the same time for years. This is the first time there has been a delay, and it’s solely due to Snowcrete—not mismanagement.
Also, whoever claimed that the conference wanted to delay tryouts is simply wrong. GA does not have mandated ID timelines like ECNL does. That information is being misrepresented.
Please stop spreading false narratives.

Yes, Adam needs to go. His public social media activity—particularly his strong political MAGA commentary—has been divisive and inappropriate for someone in his role.
More importantly, STJ leadership needs to be made aware of how poorly things have deteriorated under his tenure. From the outside, it appears leadership is either unaware of or disconnected from how much damage has been done since he took over. Does TSJ pay really well? A long time respected Herndon coach just moved there. While there may be other reasons for the move, I wonder if they offered a bunch of money.

If he didn’t have this job, would anyone in the region hire him to coach? Too much baggage. Frankly I’m surprised that coaches familiar with his behavior and his reputation would accept to work for him. Shocked that 22 would align himself with this situation. [/quote][/quote]
