He has gone far in politics due to nepotism. Don’t understand why democrats would want him to run.

The top 1% of Californians pay the majority of taxes in CA. They are fleeing the state. Newsome decided everyone who steps foot in CA can get free health care with no co-pays as long as your income is under a certain amount. Because of bonuses paid by the federal government and a convoluted taxing health companies tje state actually made money expanding Medicaid (which is going to be capped and lowered).

So drug addicts who want to do a rehab in patient program get flown to CA by rehabs, both documented and  undocumented people with expensive health conditions are costing billions more than anticipated. Now there is no way to pay for it. A group wants to tax billionaires 5% of all their money and assets. So they are worried and leaving the state so now there is going to be even less money.

But Newsome won’t be Gov so what does he care. His term ends this year. [/quote]
