I am being honest. I most certainly will not crawl over broken bottles. Having Miyares in that spot is not the outcome I want. I know the consequences of that and I usually do vote straight Dem. But I want a plan to get Jones out of that spot because he clearly does not belong there. I’m very upset that we are in this spot and I am not going to take the party line on this one. I feel blindsided again and I’m mad. Not mad enough to vote for Miyares or just NOT vote, but as a loyal D, I want to know that we are better than this. I know so many local party members who are amazing people. I’m friends with some of the state reps and senators. They were standing behind him strongly as of last month, but I’m sure they feel similar to me right now. I feel like his hubris put us in this spot, thinking none of this would surface somehow? Just incredibly infuriating.[/quote]
