You do realize that the US has lower levels of public services than any other industrialized nation?  The reason our debt is so high is (a) ridiculous levels of military spending and (b) never ending tax cuts from Republicans that explode the deficit.[/quote]

They do not live in the everyday world. They voice edicts from ivory towers and everyone has to follow.  Their world view is a world government that runs everything is best.
