That is very logical.  North Potomac, Travilah, and Darnestown go to Ridgeview / QO.  The City of Gaithersburg schools go to Lakelands / Crown. [b]Falls Grove and Ritchie Park to Wooton.[/b][/quote]

FG is actually closer to Wootton but only about 1/2 a mile. But unless they take out Travilah or Dufief the traffic would be terrible on the one lane Wootton Parkway.

I think they just need to move Horizon Hill neighborhood to the very undercrowded Cold Spring ES so they can be walkers and leave the rest of RPES going into RM. But moving Wayside to Wootton before considering Ritchie Park, which half would be walkers to Wootton, is a terrible idea [/quote]

The high school buses for wayside area would be about a 6:40am bus stop pick-up for a 7:45 arrival. The bus at Copenhaver is 6:50am so it can beat out the traffic. No teen wants to get up that early. So what happens now and will happen with Wayside? Parents driving in. Teens driving in. So much more congested on that one lane road.

For kids living in Horizon Hill? They could start walking by 7:25pm or bike by 7:35 and get to school on time. [/quote]

Yeah I’m so close to Churchill (Wayside) that I could easily drive my kids to school in five mins and be back at my house so they could get some extra sleep. Doing that to Wootton would not be possible.[/quote]
