Funny to see MAGAs saying "We should feed Americans before we give food to foreign countries.  We should take care of homeless veterans before we take care of refugees and asylum seekers" - as if there's something stopping us from feeding hungry Americans or housing homeless vets now.  Well, let's be honest there - what's stopping us is Republicans, because those arguments are really just deflections, because they could actually care less about feeding hungry Americans or housing homeless vets and don't want to pay for anything because they only care about the wants and desires of megacorporations and billionaire overlords.

It's the same thing they do with gun violence, with Republicans saying "we don't have a gun problem, we have a mental health problem" to which I reply, "fine, then let's do something about mental health!" - at which the Republicans suddenly slip away and go hide in the bushes.  [/quote]
