Why is nobody blaming the Jewish vote in Florida and Pennsylvania and Michigan that also helped trump?
We can’t! We can’t go blaming Emhoff and Torres or individuals from the good religion.
Emhoff and Torres are Democrats, so they are certainly not responsible for voting for Trump. But the minority of Jews who did vote for Trump? They probably did not vote against their own interests. They are more radically pro-Israel than the typical Jew (80% of whom voted for Harris) and they have good reason to believe that Trump will give Netanyahu more ammo and a longer leash in the various wars that Israel is fighting right now. So that is in their interest. Also they are going to be wealthier than average, and Trump is good for the rich. So it's in their favor that way, too. With the Arabs who voted for Trump? It's hard to see how it advances what they've said are their interests. But maybe their interests are more nuanced than what I understand. I have to assume they made rational choices for themselves. I'm not angry with them. I'm not anything with them. I just think that to the extent they did this over anger about Gaza, they will regret that choice. Perhaps not!
It doesn’t matter who the President is. AIPAC controls Congress and the weapons and US military will always help Israel over Palestinians so you’re not saying much when you’re warning about Trump and Netanyahu’s so called close friendship which if you actually read more news you’d know isn’t a close friendship at all. They are frenemies. Vance also skipped Netanyahus address to Congress just like Kamala and is not known as a war in Lebanon or Iran enthusiast like Liz Cheney, who Kamala foolishly brought to stump for her in Michigan.
I'm not warning about anything. Just looking with my own two eyes at what is before me. Maybe Trump and Vance will be great for Palestine! Wouldn't that be something.
