There is some movement each year at the top clubs, both in the DC area, and in Baltimore. Most of the top clubs have B teams, so it's not a cut as much as a directed move to another team at the same club. As a result new players come in or get moved up from the B team. Vacancies also come up as players move to "greener pastures" for a variety of reasons--reputation, recruiting track record, coaching, personality issues, etc. So, if you have a good player, there are some opportunities. Some of the most elite clubs, such as, allegedly, Hero's, have invite-only try outs at the high school level. So you would have to make a player's interest known at those clubs. Hope this helps.
