Question - will these kids be allowed back at BCC if they are convicted?
The honest answer is that it depends. "Court involved" youth or "adjudicated" youth do attend MCPS schools. There are kids in every single MCPS high school that are court involved in some way, and there are specialists whose job it is to help court involved youth transition back to mainstream education following completion of their time in a DJA placement, or while they are on probation. These specific kids? Hard to say except it seems unlikely that the one being tried as an adult would return to BCC. Depending on their involvement, some of the others might.
