Target share price is now at its lowest in 5 years. Why? All the normies love satanic trans slogans. It doesn't make sense.
Normal people aren’t watching Target’s stock price and rubbing their hands over it dropping. They’re wondering if they can afford eye drops at Target that their doctor prescribed. You all keep on telling on yourselves.
This is inconsistent with DCUMs stance that Republicans are all poor. You need to pick a stance and stick with it.
No one thinks Republicans are all poor and even if I did that has nothing to do with what I posted.
Ok, so what I've learned in this thread is that the leftist position is that the boycott is ineffective because normal people are rushing out to buy all the controversial merchandise. Now, as Target has lost $14B in market cap-- 5B more than when this thread started-- I'm seeing that mantra repeated less often. Now, if we notice that Target has lost $14B, then we are weird, because normal people don't follow financial markets because they are too poor. Neither of these seem persuasive. Lots of normal people have some level of exposure to the news, and will notice that the leftist insistence that the boycott isn't working seems unlikely to be true. It also seems that the thesis of this thread, that Rs are terminally out of touch and that the "ineffective" boycott is proof of this, is not really holding up well as this drags out and the stock has not yet leveled out. Given all these facts, the OPs argument is invalid.
