This is a very helpful post.  Does this mean that there is not a shortage on the boys side for referees? I do know that one of the referees at the Saints SR game drove down from Baltimore yesterday. He did so because of the girls referee shortage in this area.  He mentioned that several refs quit after the Covid period.  Agree that there should be a shot clock, but hard to fault the coaches given the rules.  [/quote]

except there is no ref (wo)manning the clock now, so not sure how true the PP is about the clock/ref.  The field refs could easily control or direct the a shot clock as well. [/quote]
