Many VA schools were open last fall. 
Many VA schools have different testing/quarantining protocols.

A lot of this stuff was really big for me, too.  Safely reopening schools should have been the number one priority for every minute they were closed and much of the other stuff could have been tabled.  But this might have me voting for republicans in the next school board election to add some varied voices.  No way in hell would I have voted for Youngkin over the disaster that was FCPS last year.
