I'm a conservative woman but I work, wear synthetic wigs so I can change hair color at will, am pro birth control, and like Biden.
I'm a conservative woman. I work, am ivy league educated, pro-birth control, pro-choice, etc. The stereotypes aren't helpful. In my case, I became conservative (despite disagreeing about many things) once I got the memo on what teacher's unions are doing to education. I'm also disgusted at the prospect of spending 3.5t, respect law enforcement, and didn't appreciate not just having my window broken in the "peaceful protesting" but came to resent that I couldn't even dare mention that anything un-peaceful happened. Bye.
IF YOU ARE NOT PRO-LIFE, YOU ARE *NOT* A CONSERVATIVE!!
Why not? I consider myself pro-life, I think life begins at conception. I think there’s a sanctity to the life that a woman carries in her womb. But I also respect that women need to make decisions for themselves with regards to abortion.
This. Why can’t people understand that not everyone is as black or white as the majority of the (vocal?) left and right have become. I am pro life for myself, and it saddens me a lot to think about someone having an abortion after six weeks. BUT, i think people should have a choice up to a certain, longer point (not sure where I think that point should be because I try to keep my mind out of this political issue). The “conservative woman” pp sounds so much like me re the issues she referenced. But here’s one she didn’t mention that will really blow the other pp’s mind - I am very very much anti-guns and think they should be outlawed as much as possible and then super strict screening and monitoring laws/regulations to the extent allowed. Also support gay marriage and transgender rights. Also 100% against the death penalty. But I still consider myself a conservative. I’m just very much on the left for social issues, but for everything else from economy/taxes, immigration, military, education, domestic policy, environmental, and healthcare, I am far right.
This is exactly me.
