they only want rapid antigen tests to get rid of quarantines. APE members are not signing their kids up for the weekly testing that could actually help to stop outbreaks cuz they'd rather not know if their kids have covid.

Yes, apparently they also set up a meeting with infectious disease doctors and APS to discuss test-to-stay. APS said they'd do it if they had supplies so that's why they are pushing more testing capabilities. Honestly, this make sense to me. I read that only 1.8% of close contacts in the UK actually test positive which means we are WAY over-quaranting. Has APS released the test percent %s of close contacts? I haven't heard of any close contacts actually testing positive. [/quote]
