The Green New Deal isn’t a misstep. It’s bold and and sets a new goal post. What AOC and other supporters realize is that even if they get a fraction of what the NGD aims for, we will get far more than we will than the stays quo. Now, what ACO and the Democrats have to do is message and steward the deal correctly and get buy in for industry and others. But this is not a misstep.

Climate change is real. Social disparity is growing. The only people who want to believe otherwise  
are fossil fuel execs, corporations who want to continue to exploit the environment and workers, and the ultra wealthy.
