2.   Get off the plane and not go to where ever she was headed.

Not 100% -- I am not agreeing with what she did.  I am saying (read carefully now) that she was put in a bad situation, through no fault of her own, the other party clearly wanted to make their issue her issue (I am somehow certain you are familiar with this approach), and that the woman likely (based on her behavior - once again, I am not condoning it) did not realize she had options.
